2013 Challenger Redline Rt

2013 Challenger Redline Rt

They were presented at various Modern Mopar events in 2012.

The concept was developed in Nov. 2009 by me; the actual modification is documented here on the "Z". The emphasis was primarily on the inside of the Wheels. I painted them RED Inside for the purpose of Great Car Show presentation; for EASY Cleaning of Brake-Dust by Clear Coating the Inferno Red Pearl Paint. The Outer Lip also painted Red to give it the Old-School look... It was seen and admired by Ralph Giles in March 2010 at "SpringFest of LX's" in Irvine, Southern Cal among 700 other fine Modern Mopars.

The the First Year was only the SXT (V6) with a Red Stripe running the length of the car down the middle, from Front to Back. Currently, a lot of those cars have replaced their wheels, or the Red Lip has so much Curb-Rash. They were bought by Non-Enthusiasts that had no appreciation, or idea of the limited production numbers. (I know one guy that had his SXT RedLine PAINTED WHITE & BLACK, and he still has it.) Smh

The Second Year included a limited number of R/T's with the Red & Black Stripe along the side of the car. That stripe has a very interesting element and presentation. So much so; I had one installed on my current Scat Pack. LOL

The Ultimate "REDLINE".

Mopar often comes up with special edition models, and some folks house /preserve them with hopes of an increase in value. But, no one can actually say what the potential worth will be in years to come. It's not a HellCat, just another Special Edition like the "IE", "The Drag Pack", "Mopar 10", the "2008 SRT", a prestine "Hemi Orange", "100 Anniversary", the first year of the "Plum Crazy", "The Yellow Jacket", The Envy Green", etc... (I may have missed one or two.)

Enjoy the RIDE...
